YEJIA Silicone Molding Factory | Custom Silicone Products Manufacturer
Welcome to YEJIA Optical Silicone Division, a professional manufacturer of custom silicone molded products for food and beverage, medical, optical, and LED lighting applications. Our three specialized workshops serve different industries: Workshop I – Food-Grade Silicone: Compression molding and LSR injection molding for silicone valves, covers, gaskets, and custom components. Workshop II – Medical-Grade Silicone: LSR injection molding in an ISO 13485-certified workshop, producing medical silicone wound drainage balls and other medical components. Workshop III – Optical-Grade Silicone: Class 100,000 cleanroom production of optical silicone lenses, LSR overmolded optics, and LED silicone lenses. We also use automated punching equipment for efficient silicone valve production. Looking for a reliable custom silicone molding partner? Contact us to discuss your project!
Something You Should Know About Silicone Raw Materials!
Do you know the difference between solid silicone and liquid silicone rubber (LSR)? What types of silicone materials are available, how much do they cost, and what certifications are required for different applications? Silicone raw materials can be classified by their physical form into solid silicone and liquid silicone rubber (LSR). Based on their intended applications and performance requirements, they can also be categorized into food-grade, medical-grade, and optical-grade silicone. Each type has its own material properties, processing requirements, cost range, and certification requirements. Watch this video to learn more about silicone materials and how to choose the right one for your project. Our factory specializes in custom silicone molding products, offering silicone compression molding, LSR injection molding, and LSR overmolding to meet a wide range of application needs. What Is the Difference Between LSR Injection Molding and Compression Molding?
LSR injection molding and silicone compression molding are two common manufacturing processes for silicone products. What are the main differences? Let's compare them from four key aspects. 1. Material LSR injection molding uses liquid silicone rubber (LSR), while compression molding typically uses solid silicone rubber. 2. Mold Structure LSR molding uses a specialized injection mold with a feeding system. Compression molding typically uses a two-part mold, with silicone material placed directly into the mold cavity. 3. Molding Temperature Both processes use heat to cure silicone, but compression molding often operates at a higher mold temperature than LSR injection molding, depending on the material and process requirements. 4. Production Process LSR injection molding is highly automated and well suited for high-volume production with consistent part quality. Compression molding offers flexibility for different product sizes, shapes, and production volumes.
LSR Injection Molding Silicone Optical Lenses
Comparing to plastic optical lenses, the light transmittance of silicone optical lenses reaches to 94%, and the temperature resistant is up to 150 Celsius degrees. With the great flexibility and fludity, the optical liquid silicone material can be overmolded with other materials, like plastic, metal and so on, also, the optical liquid silicone can help achieve some complex micro-structure designs. If you're looking for suppliers of silicone optics, please do not hesitate to contact us. With high imported mold making and mass production equipment, we're woking with top class LED lighting brands.
