DESCRIPTION
Specification
The 38/400 Plastic Nozzle Cap with Silicone Valve is a specialized dispensing closure designed for squeeze bottles containing liquids, gels, creams, sauces, and other flowable products. Unlike conventional flip top caps, this nozzle bottle cap uses a pointed dispensing spout combined with a silicone cross-slit valve to provide controlled product delivery with reduced dripping.
The narrow nozzle design directs the product precisely where it is needed, while the integrated silicone valve automatically closes after dispensing. This makes the cap particularly suitable for ultrasound gel, cosmetic gels, personal care products, sauces, and other products requiring clean and controlled dispensing.
The screw-on closure is designed for 38/400 bottle necks. Custom colors, valve specifications, opening force, slit configuration, and branding options can be developed according to your bottle and dispensing requirements.

Product Information
A Plastic Nozzle Cap is a dispensing closure featuring a narrow, pointed outlet that helps guide liquid or gel products during application. This design is different from a traditional flat flip-top cap because the nozzle provides a more focused dispensing path.
This 38/400 model incorporates a 9.8 mm silicone cross-slit valve inside the dispensing system. When the bottle is squeezed, internal pressure opens the silicone valve and allows the product to pass through the slit. Once the squeezing force is released, the elastic silicone valve returns to its closed position.

The silicone valve responds to bottle pressure, allowing users to control the amount of product dispensed by adjusting squeezing force.
The self-closing silicone valve helps reduce unwanted leakage and dripping when the bottle is not being squeezed.
The pointed nozzle and silicone valve are especially suitable for products such as ultrasound gel, cosmetic gel, lotions, sauces, and other viscous formulations.
The valve structure supports inverted bottle storage by helping prevent product leakage through the nozzle when the bottle is placed upside down.
Simply open the nozzle, squeeze the bottle to dispense the product, and release the pressure. The silicone valve automatically closes after dispensing.
The cap can be manufactured from PP, while the dispensing valve can be produced from liquid silicone rubber. Food-contact and other material requirements can be specified according to the application.
Available options include cap color, valve hardness, slit dimensions, opening pressure, logo, and packaging configuration.

How to Use
1. Screw the 38/400 nozzle cap securely onto the compatible bottle.
2. Open the nozzle or dispensing outlet.
3. Hold the bottle in the desired dispensing position.
4. Gently squeeze the bottle to build internal pressure.
5. The silicone cross-slit valve opens and allows the product to flow through the nozzle.
6. Release the bottle after dispensing.
7. The silicone valve automatically returns to its closed position to help prevent dripping.
8. Close the nozzle after use for storage and transportation.
For viscous products such as ultrasound gel, the valve hardness and slit dimensions can be customized to achieve the required opening force and dispensing volume. Manufacturing Process
The production of the 38/400 Plastic Nozzle Cap with Silicone Valve is controlled through multiple manufacturing and inspection stages:
Plastic Injection Molding - Further Processing - Inspection - Silicone Valve Assembly - Inspection - Function Test - Dust Free Packing - Shipping![]()
Hopewell specializes in the development and production of silicone valve bottle caps and plastic dispensing closures, with extensive experience in silicone and plastic molding.
Our in-house mold development capability supports accurate production of both plastic closure components and silicone valves. Customized nozzle geometry and valve structures can be developed for different bottles and formulations.
Automated production and assembly equipment help improve manufacturing consistency and reduce human assembly errors.
Silicone valves are inspected during production and assembly to confirm correct installation. Valve presence, positioning, and basic functionality are checked to reduce the risk of missing or improperly assembled valves.
Automatic CCD inspection technology can be used for full inspection of product dimensions and appearance. Depending on the project requirements, functional characteristics can also be integrated into the inspection system.
Controlled raw materials, standardized production processes, automated inspection, and process management contribute to consistent product quality from batch to batch.
With extensive experience in silicone valve molding and dispensing closure production, Hopewell can support OEM and customized projects from initial design and mold development through mass production and assembly.

FAQ
1
What bottle does this Plastic Nozzle Cap fit?
This model is designed for bottles using a 38/400 neck finish. Bottle compatibility should be confirmed with the neck dimensions and thread specification before mass production.
2
What is the silicone valve diameter?
The standard configuration uses a 9.8 mm silicone cross-slit valve. Other valve diameters and slit configurations can be developed according to dispensing requirements.
3
Is this nozzle cap suitable for ultrasound gel
Yes. The pointed nozzle and silicone self-closing valve make this design particularly suitable for ultrasound gel and other gel-based products. Valve hardness and slit size can be optimized according to gel viscosity.
4
Does the valve prevent leakage when the bottle is upside down?
The silicone valve is designed to remain closed when there is no dispensing pressure, helping provide leak-resistant performance during inverted storage. Actual leakage performance depends on the formulation, bottle, valve specification, and filling conditions.
5
Is the Plastic Nozzle Cap suitable for food products?
Food-contact PP and silicone material options are available. The final material and compliance requirements should be confirmed according to the intended market and application.
6
Do you manufacture both the plastic cap and silicone valve?
Yes. Hopewell specializes in integrated production of plastic dispensing closures and silicone valves, allowing better control over component compatibility, assembly, and overall product quality.
