What Is Silicone One-way Umbrella Valve?


Silicone one-way umbrella valve is also known as mushroom valve, because its shape is like a mushroom. It is made of food grade clear silicone material and processed by hot pressing molding. The silicone umbrella valve works like this. When pressure increases, the round rod is lifted from the seat and the umbrella valve allows forward flow, in a one-way stream. When pressure decreases, the round rod drops and the entire silicone umbrella valve is closed to create a seal.
